Silver Regulatory Associates announces the launch of its Cyber Compliance Division, a new service line tailored to help private fund managers meet growing regulatory demands around cybersecurity.

Silver Regulatory Associates is pleased to announce the launch of its newest service offering: Cyber Compliance Services, a dedicated division focused on helping private fund managers and registered investment advisers meet the increasing regulatory expectations around cybersecurity risk management and oversight.

This expansion reflects Silver’s ongoing growth and commitment to evolving alongside the firms we serve, delivering practical, high-touch compliance solutions that anticipate and respond to the industry’s most urgent challenges.

A Strategic Expansion Built on Client Need

Since its inception, Silver has grown into a multidisciplinary, full-service compliance consultancy, serving some of the country’s most sophisticated private fund managers and registered investment advisers. Over the past seven years, we have expanded our team, broadened our service offerings and evolved our brand to reflect the dynamic regulatory landscape in which our clients operate.

From launching our Due Diligence offering in 2023 to rolling out new education tools for our clients – such as our Educational Hub and the Silver Salon Series – every new initiative has been designed with our clients’ needs and best interests at the core. The launch of our Cyber Compliance division is no different; it is a direct response to growing demand for cybersecurity oversight that is both technically informed and regulator-ready.

Why Cyber, Why Now?

The SEC’s continued focus on cybersecurity controls, alongside increasing investor scrutiny, have made cybersecurity a core element of compliance rather than just an IT concern. Private fund managers are expected to implement written information security policies (WISPs), define clear incident response procedures, conduct risk assessments and demonstrate ongoing oversight across internal systems.

Silver’s Cyber Compliance division is purpose-built to address this shift. Our services are designed to help firms build and maintain cybersecurity programs that are both defensible and flexible, integrated with the broader compliance architecture and responsive to evolving threats.

Broadening Silver’s Talent Bench

To lead the new division, Silver has welcomed Michael Regan, Director of Cybersecurity Compliance. Michael brings more than a decade of experience advising alternative asset managers on cybersecurity and technology risk, with prior leadership roles at Drawbridge Partners and Abacus Group.

“We have built Silver to be a forward-thinking partner for registered investment advisers and private fund managers, and the addition of this new cyber compliance business line is a natural extension of that vision,” said Fizza Khan, Founder and CEO of Silver. “Cybersecurity has become a regulatory and reputational priority and continues to be top of mind for our clients and regulators. With Michael on board and at the helm of this new group, we are able to offer our clients expertise that is both technically grounded and aligned with the realities of regulator oversight and investor diligence.”
